The Algorithm Development Executive Board (ADEB) is charged with supervising the development of the GOES-R algorithms that are used to make the new and improved GOES-R products. The ADEB assesses the algorithms, ensuring the best possible GOES-R products, and minimizing the risk to the GOES-R Program as a whole. The ADEB works in coordination with the Independent Peer Review (IPR) team to gain the most comprehensive information. The IPR team reviews the technical aspects of each algorithm whereas the ADEB reviews the processes that the AWG uses to develop each algorithm.
